What types of therapy do you offer?

I provide therapy for individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. My focus includes communication challenges, relationship repair, anxiety, life transitions, parenting, and emotional awareness.


Are sessions virtual or in person?

All sessions are offered via secure telehealth for flexibility and ease.


What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is a space for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your goals, what brings you in, and what you hope to change or strengthen. You can also ask questions and get a feel for how I work.


How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Extended sessions for couples or families can be arranged if needed.


How often do we meet?

Many clients begin weekly or biweekly. As therapy progresses, some shift to every other week or monthly check-ins depending on their needs.


Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly.
However, many clients choose to use out-of-network benefits. If your plan includes these benefits, you may receive partial reimbursement after paying for sessions upfront.


How does out-of-pocket payment work with insurance?

You pay for sessions out of pocket at the time of service.
If you have out-of-network coverage, I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance. They may then reimburse you directly for a portion of the fee based on your plan.


What are your fees?

Fees vary depending on session type (individual, couple, or family). Please contact me directly for current rates and availability.


How do I schedule a session?

You can email me at info@doctorchristinab.com. I will respond with available times and next steps.


What if I need to cancel?

Please provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are billed at the full session rate.


Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything shared is confidential except in situations required by law or when there is a safety concern.
